Main Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the industrial relations function and ensure compliance with legislation.
To evaluate, adapt and develop and implement structures, policies, and procedures that will result in fair and consistent labour practices and ensures communication between management and employees.
To provide training and information to Management and supervisors.
To manage union activities and relevant logistics pertaining to the collective bargaining process.
Ensure that labour disputes and grievances are minimised.
Promote innovative and continuous improvement in IR practices.
To advise management on the legislation.
To manage the disciplinary process
To manage the recruitment process.
To manage the communication process.
Qualifications & Skills
Tertiary Qualification specialising in Industrial Relations.
Six years HR Generalist Supervisory experience.
Computer literate with exposure to VIP HR Premier will be advantageous.
Excellent knowledge of Labour legislation and the CCMA rules and regulations.
Experience in wage negotiations and the resolution thereof will be advantageous.
